With deep Love and immense Gratitude, we share the passing of Diana Mullins on February 16 2025, in her 80th year at Wentworth Lodge in Dundas. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Coreen (Tom) Sullivan and son David Mullins who she loved deeply. The bond she shared with her grandchildren Brendan and Brooke was one of unconditional love, laughter and cherished memories that will forever be held close to there hearts. Diana is survived by her brother Gordon Didyk and predeceased by her sister Gloria Zrelak. She was predeceased by her parents John and Anne Didyk of Welland On.

In her younger years, Diana was a talented hairdresser. With her entrepreneurial spirit, she embraced new opportunities and loved creating in many forms. But above all, Diana devoted her life to her children always ensuring they felt supported, loved and encouraged.

For 18 years Wentworth lodge was Diana’s home, where she was surrounded by a caring community of staff who became like family. She was fondly known as the “Wentworth Lodge Greeter” always sharing a bright smile with those around her, she will deeply be missed by all who knew her.

Life was not always easy for Diana, she faced many hardships including illness yet she met each challenge with resilience. No matter how difficult things became she did her very best never losing her spirit, determination, or the love she so freely gave. I am profoundly grateful to have been by her side through her transition. Her presence was a gift, her love unwavering and her strength an endless source of inspiration. We will miss her deeply and find comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and is at peace and surrounded by love.

In keeping with Diana’s wishes as she did not want a funeral, cremation has taken place, and her life will be celebrated in a private family gathering. We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love prayers and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers please honour Diana’s memory by spreading kindness through a warm smile, a thoughtful word or simple act of compassion.
