It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dale after a lengthy health challenge.

Dale leaves behind his loving wife, Catherine; his sons, Justin (Taryn) and Nicholas (Alisa); and bonus son, Joel (Katrina); his sister, Angela, whom he adored; his two brothers, Dave (Carol) and Dean; his grandchildren, River, Sloan, Wyatt, Nathaniel and Benjamin; and his in-laws, Rudy and Karen, Matthew and Paula and Brian and Kelly.

He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Dale was predeceased by his parents, Malcolm and Yvonne; his brother, Mike; and brother-in-law, Joe Hway.

Dale loved his family, Nascar and, for some reason, his beloved Maple Leafs.

The family wishes to thank the amazing staff of the Juravinski Hospital who were like family to Dale.

In light of Dale's wishes, there will be no funeral services held but a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Juravinski Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
