Cynthia Latimer (Monk)

January 27, 1954 – October 16, 2025

With her loving family by her side, Cindy passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on October 16, 2025 in her 72nd year. Cindy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Andrew and her cherished children Jayde (Cathy) and Myles (Roxanne); Andrew (Catherine), Tarrah (Chris), Jodi (Brian), and Michael. Cindy was the loving sister and sister-in-law of Karen, Debbie (Bill), Peter, Barbara, Sandra, Laura, Sheila (Terry), and Barbara. Her grandchildren (great) send big hugs, kisses, and cuddles to Grandma. Cindy also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She is now reunited with her beloved parents, Peter and Helene Monk and her extended family.

Cindy had a quiet strength, compassionate soul, and a smile that could brighten any room. Her love was unconditional, and she made everyone feel important and seen. The stories she told filled a conversation with laughter and her spirit was big. Cindy was resilient and faced life with courage and dignity. She spent her working years as a nurse and carried her empathetic, caring nature throughout her life. A genuine, caring, and beautiful soul.

We are grateful to the doctors and nurses at Juravinski Hospital for the compassionate support and care she received. 

Cremation is taking place, and a Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
