Christopher Robin Wright - November 22, 1927- May 21, 2025

At the age of 97, Chris Wright passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, surrounded by family.

Predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Marian Jesse Wright.

Survived by his children Stephen (Debbie), Anthony (Sally), Martin (Debbie), Andrew (Kelly), Heather (Joe), and his grandchildren Rebekah (AJ), Jessica (Dave), Amanda (Ben), Hannah, Vanessa (Kyle), Collin, Ashley (Daryl), Kelsey (Brett), Justin (Carol Anne), Aleksandra (Sean) and his great grandchildren Ellika, Soraya, Zander, Zane, Adeline, Sawyer, Logan and Emma

Chris grew up in Portsmouth, England and married Marian in 1951. In 1957 they travelled to Canada for him to continue his career as an architect with the Government of Canada in Ottawa. He later lived in Edmonton, Halifax, Burlington, Calgary, and Owen Sound before returning to the Burlington area. He truly put his name on the map in the many buildings he has designed across Canada. Including 2 houses he built for his family in Kilbride, Ontario and Calgary, Alberta.

When he was younger, Chris loved to play squash,he was an avid square dancer and with his wife they performed in the opening ceremonies of the Calgary Olympic games in 1988. His real passion later in life, was playing bridge with friends weekly.

Dad will be sincerely missed by his family and friends.

Family would like to thank all the staff at Appleby Place, and Joseph Brant Hospital, for their kindness during our father's last days.

A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
