It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Christopher Lawrence Benjamin Wilson announce his sudden passing on Wednesday April 19, 2023 at the age of 49. Loving son of Lawrence and Martha Wilson. Dear brother of Crystal Carter (Chris Parsons) Thomas Wison and Jennifer Ivany (Johnathan). All from Fort McMurray AB. Uncle to Kelsey Clark (Donald)Oxford NS , Brodie Carter (Jade), Anna Carter ( Jayce Haywood), Damian, Nevaeh, Natasha Ivany ( Fort McMurray AB) . As well as great Uncle to Katherine and Kash Carter and Vera Clark. Including many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Chris was born in Sackville New Brunswick and grew up in Beamsville Ont. Returning to Sackville and Graduating from Tantramar High School. Later moving back to Hamilton where he lived for many years. Working as a superintendent he enjoyed many conversations with his tenants daily. Chris enjoyed being around people to laugh and carry on.

Anyone who knew Chris, knew when he was in the room with his contagious laugh followed by his willingness to help anyone and everyone. Chris woke up daily wondering how he could help others that day! Chris had the biggest heart he was kind to everyone he met even if they weren't kind to him.

He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Arnold and Doris Paugh and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Dora Wilson, Nephew Weston Carter , and several Aunts and Uncles.

A special thank you to Tracy and Richard, his close friends, Hamilton Paramedics and the St Joseph's Doctors, who did everything they could. Cremation has taken place. Chris will rest with his family in Alberta.
