With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Cheryl Lynn Maclean (née Carpenter) at Juravinski Hospital on May 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on June 7, 1961, in Hamilton, Cheryl dedicated her life to caring for those she loved.

Beloved wife of Jamie for 45 years. Loving mother to Darrell (Ashley) and Jason (Amy). Cherished Nana of Owyn, Alexis, Lucas, Aubrey, Kayley, and Abby. Loving sister of Donna (Lenny), Beverly (Adam), Brenda (Butch), Darrell, and Rhonda (Joe), as well as sister-in-law Patricia, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents, Ron and Ruth Carpenter, and her sister, Charlene Pinder (Mike).

Her door and heart were always open to family in times of need. Cheryl found joy in cooking, crafts, bingo, and card games. She was the heart of the family, bringing everyone together with love and strength.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
