Charles William Laycock, Jr.

September 5, 1955 — November 28, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles ‘Charlie’ Laycock, Jr of Hamilton announce his sudden passing on November 28th, 2022 at the age of 67.

Charlie, or Chuck to some, will be lovingly missed by his sister, Lori Ambrose, his niece, Chandis Wilde (Mike) and his great nephews, Ethan and Logan. He will also be missed by his sister, Gail Knight, and her children.

He was predeceased by his parents, Chuck and Betty Laycock, his brother, William Laycock and his nephew, Joseph Ambrose.

In recent years, Charlie took up bowing and was part of a weekly bowling league at Mountain Lanes. Just like his dad and sister, the love of bowling runs in the family, and it comes as no surprise that his team's name was Charlie’s Angels. His fellow league members have decided to keep the name going in his legacy.

Charlie was always full of jokes and had no boundaries when throwing insults at the people he loved most. No one was off limits to his shenanigans and quick wit.

His distinct laugh was infectious and contagious to all those who have had the pleasure of hearing it.

Cremation has taken place and as per his wishes, there will be no service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you pick up a bowling ball and bowl a round in his honor.

Chuck, you will be missed. We love you.

“When I die, don’t come to my grave to tell me how much you love and miss me, because those are the words I want to hear while I’m still alive”
