Charlene had a gift for making everyone around her feel at home. Whether it was quiet chats, surprise visits, or grandkid chaos, her door was always open. Just walk past the (sometimes year-round) snowmen and a welcoming hug was always ready.

Charlene was loyal, whether you had known her since childhood or had only just met. She loved her traditions - like watching The Young And The Restless (for over 50 years!), cozy Christmas Eve potlucks, casual Yahtzee games or sharing tea and snacks with her extended family and friends.

Her mother-in-law, Gwen, will remember her as a loving, thoughtful daughter-in-law and a good friend, someone whose company will be deeply missed.

Her infectious smile, wise counsel and long, heartfelt conversations about life will be lovingly cherished by her brother Bob, sister-in-law Yvonne and nephews Jason and Jeff.

She absolutely adored her children - Derek & Silvie, Leanne & Mike, and Brad - and her grandchildren - Katelyn, Abby, Riley, Sofi, and Kora. They were her greatest joy, and she delighted in celebrating all their milestones, big and small, taking every opportunity to laugh with them and spoil them silly.

Charlene’s generosity and kindness have left a lasting impact and her absence will be felt by everyone whose lives she brightened.
