Carmela North

December 9, 1935 - September 5, 2021 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carmela at the age of 85 who went peacefully in her sleep at her home on September 5, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. Carmela was predeceased by her husband Harold, son Gary, grandson David (Gary), brothers Laurie, Reggie and Louie Theriault, sister Lorraine Coady, parents Marie France Theriault (Leger) and Lionel Theriault and most recently brother-in-law Geordie Oak. Carmela is survived by daughters Karen Boyko(Brian) and Michele Oak, sons David and Wayne Oak, brothers Emery and Claude Theriault, sister Alice Mckay as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Carmela was a graceful, wonderful, beautiful and caring woman who loved her family and lived a peaceful life enjoying the simple things. She loved to travel, whether it be to a warm caribbean island, to the family "camp" in Bathurst N.B. to spend time with family or just sitting on the balcony enjoying "Happy Hour" with a glass of wine. Cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest with her husband Harold at Holy Sepulche Cemetery in Burlington. She will be forever loved and remebered by her family. Rest in Peace mom.
