Brian Hagel

It is with unimaginable shattered hearts we announce the sudden passing of Brian Hagel at the age of 71 on Monday, April 24th at St. Joseph's Hospital. Loving husband and best friend for over 50 years to Pat (nee Woods). Adored father of Tamara Fidalgo (Steve), Amanda Wilson (Rob) and Kari Crouse (Terry) Cherished Pa of Carly (Graeme), Alex (Alex), Austin and Carter. Beloved brother of Ronnie (Ron), Patsy Brown (Dave), Kenny (Jose), Karen Ewing (Jeff). Brother-in-law of Barbara Dalla Riva and Gary Woods (Carol). Also loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his best fur buddies/kids Willi and Abbi. Predeceased by his parents Marion and Dave Hagel and baby brother Kevin. And his mother and father-law Bill and Marion Woods. Brian retired after 23 years at McMaster Hospital as a proud Porter where he made many lifelong friends.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life on Monday, May 1st from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at St. Lawrence Hall. 125 Picton St. E (entry door on Mary St.) for any who would like to come and share stories, and fun times. Brian was born and raised in the North End where his heart will always remain.
