IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brian
Clare
January 7, 1965 – December 11, 2025
Brian Christopher Clare
1965-2025
Brian Christopher Clare, 60, of Waterdown, Ontario passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2025. He was born in Oromocto on January 7th, 1965, the son of the late Ronald and Shirley (Mercer) Clare.
Brian grew up in West River and graduated from Caledonia Regional High School. He was always full of energy and when he walked in a room it came alive. Brian’s personality shined through when he was smiling and laughing with the people he cared for. He was very active and loved all sports. Brian was currently living in Ontario where he was a member of the Brampton Newfoundlanders & Friends Hockey Association and was a veteran of 20 years with the Caribous team, they will miss him dearly. He was also a member of a golf club and was active in many other sports teams. Brian had made many close friends over the years through connecting with his teammates. Brian enjoyed his time at his trailer located at the Blue Sky RV Resorts, where many stories were told around the campfires. He was known for welcoming new people and was instrumental in organizing their golf tournaments. Brian enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He looked forward to his trips back home to Albert County to meet up with family and friends at their reunions where you could always find him at the center of the fun. He treasured those times, especially when the laughter was the loudest. Brian’s main priority in life was his daughter Mary, she was his pride and joy. As family are the people you live for, laugh with and love the most. One of life's greatest blessings.
Brian will be deeply missed by his daughter, Mary Clare of Nova Scotia; sisters, Sharon MacDonald (Jim) of Moncton and Ina Lynn Carter (Greg) of Lower Cape; brother, Ronald Clare (Kathy) of Saint John; his treasured nieces and nephews, Kelly (Mark), Christine (Perry), Jacquelynn, Eric (Jessica) and his great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A time of Visitation to celebrate Brian's life will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 from 2-4pm. All are invited to meet with the family for sharing of memories.
