Listen to Obituary

Bonnie Lee Belliveau, née Hayward, was born on January 13, 1953, in Campbellton, New Brunswick. She passed away on May 21, 2026, in Hamilton, Ontario, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and spirited conviction.

Known for her kindness and strong opinions, she touched the lives of everyone she knew. She loved to sing, and her cats provided her with companionship and comfort throughout the years.

She was a devoted husband to Terrance, who preceded her in death, whose partnership brought warmth and steadfast support throughout their life together for more than 50 years of marriage. Bonnie was a loving and caring mother to Timothy (Derek), who survives her. She is also survived by Tim’s stepson Noah. The depth of Bonnie’s family bonds extended to her siblings Donnie Hayward (Cindy) and the late Douglas Hayward (Jeannie), and to her sister and brother-in-laws Barbara Methot (David) and Roderick Belliveau (Dianne), all of whom treasure fond memories and moments shared with her. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was born to Alinda White and Donald Hayward, both now lovingly remembered, and was raised under the watchful eyes of her grandparents, Arthur and Opal Doucet, whose memory remained a cherished part of her story. Alongside them rests the memory of Christopher Belliveau, her son.

Those who had the privilege of calling her family or friend hold dear the memories of her laughter, her wisdom, and the unmistakable bond she shared with all she loved. She will be missed profoundly, remembered always with tenderness and gratitude.

Private arrangements and cremation have been made. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
