Betty Jean Roy

Betty Jean Roy (née Almas) March 23rd, 1946 - August 21, 2021 What we wouldn’t give to hold her hand, hear her voice and see her smile. It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Betty at St. Peter’s Hospital on August 21st, 2021 Betty is survived by her children Lindsay (Marcello), Miranda and her beloved grandchildren Jacob, Liam and Sidney. She will be lovingly remembered by many siblings, family and friends. Betty’s love, kindness and thoughtfulness made an impact on everyone whose lives she touched. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter’s Hospital would greatly be appreciated by the family. As Betty would say “Don’t cry because it’s over, rather smile because it was”
