Burlington, Ontario - Bessy passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, days after her 94th birthday. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sandy, her grandchildren, Jen and Jeremy (Lora), and her great-grandchildren, Miles, Gavin, Dorian, Emmett and Harper. Following a rewarding career with the City of Hamilton, Bessy shared her retirement with her husband George until his death in 1996. She saw many parts of the world while cruising with friends and family. At home she enjoyed occasional jaunts to the Casino and family dinners at The Keg. She will be missed by her dearest friends, lunch mates and theatre companions, Arlene, Albert and Lucie and by her devoted niece, Betty, who would entertain her with leisurely drives and Red Lobster lunches. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of 6 South and 5 North at Joseph Brant Hospital who made sure that Bessy was comfortable and safe during her last days.

Cremation has already taken place and, at Bessy's request, there will be no visitation or service.
