( Bart, Bartolo ) Treppiedi, born on December 16, 1940, Misilmeri Italy at the age of 84 passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side at the Hamilton General Hospital on Friday May 16, 2025.
Bartolo is survived by his wife Barbara and his children Angelina (John) Faustini ,Vanessa Treppiedi (Carlos) predeceased by his son Peter Anthony Treppiedi. Forever cherished and remembered by his grandchildren, Santino, Julianna, Anthony, Aleah and Jesse.
Bartolo is predeceased by his father Pietro Treppiedi and his mother Angelina Ippolito, he was also predeceased by his Sisters and brother in-laws Maria and Giovanni Raccuglia, Anna and Francesco Raccuglia and his brother Antonino and Antonella Di Paola.
Bartolo is also survived by sister in-laws Jean (Bob) Lorraine (John) brother in-law Tony (Crystal) sister in-law Josie Predeceased by brother in-laws John, Mike , Mark and sister in-law Michele.
Bartolo is survived by many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada as well as many cousins in New York and Nevada . His memory lives on with long time friend Joe and Rita Farruggia
Bartolo landed in Halifax in 1958 and then made his way to Hamilton Ont, in 1959, Here he built a Window Cleaning and Janitorial business and then moved on to become a crane operator for the automotive industry. Our dad was famous for his gardening , and his delicious pizza made with fresh tomatoes that always stole the show, as well his home made wine; this was an art, so with that we raise our Glass and cheers to a husband and loving dad, who taught us to work hard and be kind to all. A loving individual who would always be there to help anyone in need. His love and passion for life will live on forever in our hearts.
My sister and I would like to express our sincere gratitude for the care and love shown by the staff at The wellington longterm care and Nursing home.
As well as Dr haider and the medical team the staff in the emergency and the 8th\ west floor at the Hamilton General Hospital, a huge thank you for the compassion you had shown to us and our dad.

Bartolo will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Cemetery
A private mass and service will be held for immediate family date and time to be announced
Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's association and Parkisons’s foundation
