In Loving Memory of Barbara Ellen Breedon
February 22, 1954 – July 29, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Barbara Breedon, who departed this life peacefully on July 29, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born on February 22, 1954, Barbara was the only child of her loving parents, Walter and Alice Parnell, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fredrick Breedon, and by her dear grandson, whose passing brought her great sorrow and whose memory she cherished every day.

Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Kathleen and her husband Tony, Gregory Breedon, and Elizabeth and her husband Michael Smith. Her family was her greatest source of pride and joy, and she poured her heart into raising her children with care, strength, and unconditional love.

Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Barbara found true joy in being a grandmother, creating lasting memories through her quiet presence, gentle laughter, and boundless affection. The loss of her grandson left an unfillable space in her heart, yet she carried his memory with grace and honored his life through her continued love for her family.

Barbara will be remembered for her kind heart, soft-spoken strength, and the peace she brought to others. Her wisdom, humility, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones made her a constant and comforting presence in their lives.

At the family’s request, no formal service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to St. Peter’s Hospital, in honor of the care and compassion they provide.

Barbara Breedon’s legacy of love lives on in her family, her grandchildren, and in the many hearts she touched. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
