Barbara Ann Macdonald

Burlington, Ontario - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Macdonald on May 15, 2025, in her 91st year. Loving wife of the late David Macdonald. Barb will be missed by her son Steven (Danielle) and daughter Lisa (Terry). Cherished Nana to Kati (Jake), Brad, Blair (Justine), Madison, and Ava. Great-Nana to Jameson and Chloe. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a tremendous source of pride and were a large part of Barb's life. Special shout-out to the "Golden Girls," whom Barb spoke so fondly of and had so many grand adventures with.

Barb and Dave came to Canada in 1957 from the UK and made a great life together, starting in Hamilton and then eventually making Burlington, Ontario, their forever home. They enjoyed travelling, including heading back home to England, where Barb still had several family members to visit with, and sharing many fun times with a large group of friends.

Barb was a very kind and generous soul. She would often donate to charitable causes and believed in helping others who were in need. She loved to chat and made others feel at ease, enabling her to make friends wherever she went. She will be missed by many.

As per Barb's wishes, cremation has taken place, and her remains will be laid to rest beside Dave at Greenwood Cemetery. Immediate family will gather to remember her at that time.
