Arthur Alan Holt

Arthur Alan Holt July 21, 1930 – January 1, 2022. With profound sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur Alan Holt, our loving granddad, father, and friend. Arthur was the beloved father of Kim (Phil) and Glenn (Patti), and proud granddad of Andrea (Dan), Emily (Brandon), Serena (Kyle), Sarah (Brent), and Grant, adored “big” granddad to his five great grandchildren and dear long-time friend of Marie. He was predeceased by his first wife Lily (1973), mother of his children, and his second wife Esther (1999). Arthur enjoyed golfing, gardening, and soccer. He was an avid red – a lifelong Liverpool supporter where he watched every match and recited their famous anthem, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. “When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high and don’t be afraid of the dark. At the end of the storm there’s a golden sky and the sweet silver song of a lark. Walk on through the wind. Walk on through the rain. Though your dreams be tossed and blown. Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart and you’ll never walk alone.” He will be deeply missed. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life for immediate family will be held at a later date.
