April Ingrahm

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of April Ingrahm (nee Wilson) who died peacefully on Family Day at the age of 84.

Second daughter to Scottish immigrants, April lived her entire life in Hamilton,Ontario. April was happily married for 45 years to Frederick (Tony) Ingrahm,who passed away on July 8, 2014. She leaves behind her two children and their spouses,Tara and Jim Seely and Josh and Bonnie Ingrahm. Most precious to April were her three grandchildren, Jack, Sydney and Evelynn, who will miss her terribly. She also leaves behind her two sisters, Heather McGarvie and Hughette Rasian (Ronald), sister-in-law Marcia Mastromattei, brother-in-law Tony Drakes and many nieces and nephews.

April loved to read, travel and play games. She held a special place in her heart for Barbados, where Tony grew up. Above all things, April loved her family and friends. She will be remembered for her fierce wit and infectious smile. She had a way of adopting everyone around her as her own, and was known as grandma or auntie to many children who were not of her blood.

We miss you April/Mom/Mima/Grandma/Auntie.
