Anna Meiklejohn 
1932 – 2026

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who passed away peacefully at the age of 94.

A strong independent woman throughout her life, she will be remembered for the resilience, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She was a loving mother to Linda (Tom) and Cathy (Keith), and a proud grandmother to Tommy (Shayna), Jason (Cassie), Krystal (Dylan), Chad, Jen, and Cole. Her greatest joy was being a “Gigi” to Caleb and Olivia, who brought endless happiness to her life.

She is lovingly survived by her sister Lucy Nella, as well as her lifelong friends Mary Anderson (Maudie) and Lucy (Russ) Ecker. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews who will remember her with affection.

She was predeceased by her parents Sam and Angelina Morreale, her sister Carrie Morreale, brother-in-law Emilio Nella, and loving companion Paul Cipolla.

We would like to acknowledge the many years of care by Dr. Szilvassy and staff. V.O.N nurse Victor, and the staff during her time at 3 West at St. Peter’s Hospital who gave Mom such loving care and compassion.

Like a butterfly taking flight, your love remains in our hearts.

Her strength, kindness, and love of family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

In accordance with Mom’s wishes a private family service will be held at a later date.
