Andrew Charles Daigle (Manny)
Hamilton, Ontario
Andrew Charles Daigle (Manny) passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 81. He was
a member of Garden River First Nations.
Born on February 14,1944 in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. Son of Cecile Daigle (2009) and Gerald
Mann (1997)
Predeceased by his loving wife of 23 years Darlene Burdon (2023) whom he loved deeply.
Andy is survived by his children Debbie, Donna, Lisa, Christine, Bill, Bonnie, Crystale and
Normand and their spouses. He was a proud grandfather and great grandfather to many who
had brought him immense joy.
Andy will also be fondly remembered by his siblings Diane Baker, Delores Belkosky (Charlie
2020) Cathy DiBardino 2017 (Enzo), Shebba Willet (George 2023) as well as his many nieces
and nephews.
Andy spent most of his working life in the mines, a career that reflected his strong work ethic
and resilience. Outside of work he had a true passion for scrapping and finding value in stuff
when others might not. One of his favorite sayings was “One man’s junk is another man’s
treasure” and that perfectly captured his outlook on life with his ability to see the worth in
everything and everyone.
We the family, would like to thank all the staff on 5 West at Albright Manor in Beamsville for all
you kindness and care for our dad in his last days.
Andy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Cremation has already taken place per Andy’s wishes. A Celebration of Life will take place in
Spring of 2026, details to follow.
