Allen Joseph Bin

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Allen Bin, suddenly, at the General Hospital on Dec 4, 2023, in his seventy-fourth year. Allen is the beloved son of Cecil (Silla) and Clorinda Bin, both deceased. He leaves behind his loving and cherished wife of 30 years, Colleen, and his sister Antoinette Bush (Bob) and his brother Angelo (Eileen), as well as his sister-in-law Lori Parry (Trevor) and Aunt Joan. He also leaves behind his adoring nieces and nephews Theresa Tame, Danielle McDonald (Mick), Michael Bin, Matthew Bin (SuMei), Sarah Bin (Peter), Alicia Crisp (Michael) and Evan Parry (Samantha) who are devastated by the loss of their favourite uncle.

Allen was a kind, gentle, honest man who always put family first. He loved the family barbeques put on by his first cousins and always looked forward to meeting all of the ever-increasing number of relatives each year.

Allen loved travelling the world and still enjoyed his yearly excursions with Colleen. He doted over his pets and they returned the love shown them.

Allen was a retired employee of Arcelor Mittal and loved meeting regularly with his fellow retirees.

A private ceremony for his immediate family has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the MS Society of Canada.

Rest in peace Allen. We will miss you every day.
