Alice Maureen Sutherland

Maureen passed peacefully at St. Joseph's hospital on Friday, December 16, 2022, in her 87th year. Beloved wife to Robert Sutherland for 61 years. Proud mother of David (Patti), Kimberlea, and Kelly (Jay). Adored grandmother of Kristen (Derek), Kyle, Nathaniel, Matthew, and Hannah. Treasured great-grandmother of Karson, Colten, Joshua, and Katie. She will be missed by her family and friends across Canada, from Ontario to Nova Scotia. Maureen will be remembered for her vibrant and humorous personality. She was a lover of all things fashion, makeup, and hair, keeping up with every new trend. Maureen also had a passion for gardening and caring for animals. A heartfelt thanks to St. Joseph's hospital for the excellent care and support. To honour Maureen's wishes, cremation and a private remembrance have occurred. In lieu of flowers, the family would sincerely appreciate memorial contributions to the Hamilton Burlington SPCA.
