Alice Loraine Hughes

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Alice in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Allan (1998). Loving mother of Janice Berkiw (Jack), Danny (Marge), Linda Jaksic (Late Joe) and Brian (Tracey). Remembered by John Berkiw and Brian Whittaker.

Devoted Grandma to Amanda (Malcolm), Michael, Krystle (Adam SSA), Robbie (Melissa), Tiffany (Victoria), Brittany (Lore), Dylan (Becky) Amanda (Jordan) and Jeremy (Alyssa).

Doting GG to Shaila (Riley), Carly, Joshua, Jacob, Parker, Hailey, Aubrey, Mason, Emily, Hunter, Bentley, Mackenzie, Bailey, Mavrick and Braelynn.

Mom was the last of 16 children and is survived by numerous family members, her dear friends Guy and Cindy Myke, her adopted daughters Shirley Lewis, Joyce Hodson and many others whom she considered family. You know who you are. She was predeceased by her loving niece and best friend, Betty Roy.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service and cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life to take place at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the Lung Association or charity of choice in her memory.
