Alex passed away at the Juravinski Hospital, on May 8, 2022, at the age of 73.
He will be missed by his son Boris, daughter-in-law Nadia, and granddaughter Maria, his daughter Maia, her partner Thomas, and grandson Kiril, his ex-wife Hristiana Johnson, his long-time partner and best friend Marie, her daughter Kerin and son-in-law Blair, her sister Michelle, and many colleagues and friends.
Born on May 27, 1948 in Sofia, Bulgaria, Alex worked as an electrical engineer in many countries across the globe before immigrating to Hamilton, Ontario in the nineties. He continued his career as an engineer until 2007. After retiring, Alex pursued his passion of photography and enjoyed a second career as a photographer by providing pictures to many famous stock photography websites.
Per Alex’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
