Adam Dale Ernest, affectionately known as "ACE," graced this world with his vibrant spirit on March 7, 1982, in Toronto, and it is with heavy hearts that we share his passing on September 9, 2025, in Hamilton. Adam's life was abruptly cut short, leaving behind a legacy defined by love, laughter, and an undeniable zest for existence.

A passionate landscaper, Adam dedicated himself to transforming outdoor spaces into havens of beauty. Yet, his most profound touch was not with the soil or plants but with those who had the honor of knowing him. Renowned for his heart of gold and infectious humor, Adam could effortlessly brighten any room with his presence. His impressive dance moves and love for cooking endeared him to friends and family alike, making gatherings memorable and filled with joy.

Adam was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Megan Somers, with whom he created a life marked by deep connection and genuine companionship. Together, they cultivated an extraordinary relationship that exemplified the meaning of love and partnership. He found true happiness by her side, and their time together was a testament to the bond they shared.

As a father, Adam shone brightly, particularly in the lives of his two sons, Atrayu Ernest-Gray and Aiden Ernest-Gray. He took immense pride in being their dad, embodying the role with humor, care, and unwavering support. In their eyes, he was a superhero—always present and ready to engage in their adventures, whether it be cheering for his favorite hockey and baseball teams or embarking on epic video game quests.

Apart from his immediate family, Adam is profoundly missed by the late memories of his parents and cherished street parents, whose influence shaped the man he grew to become. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends who treasured the moments spent in his company, forever grateful for the laughter and love he brought into their lives.
