Aaron Hoeflaak

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Aaron Hoeflaak at the age of 42.

Born on August 30, 1983, Aaron faced significant challenges in recent years, yet those who knew him understood his desire to find stability. He was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and cared for him.

Aaron was predeceased by his father, Arie Hoeflaak, whose love, support, and advocacy were an important part of his life.

Aaron leaves behind a lasting legacy in his children, Anastasia and Cassian, and is remembered by their mother, Fion. He is survived by his oma, Corrie; his mother, Pauline; his siblings, Tara (Jeremy), Tye, and Cal; as well as many extended family members and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on July 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at East Seneca Cemetery ( 610 Concession 1 Rd, Haldimand), where Aaron will be laid to rest beside his father, Arie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aaron's memory to the Schizophrenia Society of Canada or Fred Victor, a Toronto charitable organization that provides support to people experiencing homelessness, poverty and mental health/addiction challenges.
