William Kelly

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Kelly on December 30,2022 at home with family by his side.

He was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1931 and settled in Hamilton where he raised his family and worked at Dofasco.

Predeceased by his loving wife Betty, son Bill, daughter Carol Ramsay (nee Kelly) and son-in-law James Ramsay.

Survived by his grandchildren Sean, Jillian and her husband Grant MacDonald, Scott, Cheryl, his daughter-in-law Marion Kelly, as well as great-grandchildren Carol and William MacDonald.

William, better known as Papa to most, will be remembered for his love of music, sports, time spent with family, and his kindness and generosity to people.

Gone, but never forgotten. We will treasure the time we spent with you and the memories we made together.
