Baron, Harold - Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Monday, August 8th. Harold was in his 90th year.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 65 years, Helen (nee Kolisnik), his 3 sons, Richard (Basia), John (Lorna), and Peter (Alana), and his sister Mabel.
Harold was a proud and loving grandpa to his 5 grandchildren; Annilee, David, Tania, Will, and Tyson, and to his 9 great grandchildren; Arabella, Daniel, Sammy, Kenny, Evalina, Beorna, Joss, Evan, and Aaron.
Harold will be missed by his many nephews and nieces.
Dad was a kind, gentle man, loved by all who knew him.
Known for his lifelong passion and excellence in sports, especially hockey and baseball, both as a player, and coach. He continued his involvement in sports after retirement, enjoying his winter months playing baseball in Florida.
He was a lifelong resident of Hamilton, and an employee of Proctor and Gamble, retiring in 1989 after 38 years of service in accounting and management.
He will forever be in our hearts and memories.
As per Harold's wishes, there will be no visitation, and cremation has taken place.
